Ruger gp100 (gpf-331, model 01716)

Post by Leftylever03 »

Recently I bought a gun with plans on selling this Ruger to cover the cost. When I started to research online to see about a price, I couldn’t find much information on it or many others that have sold, making me wonder whether there is or may be some collector value in this particular one I’m now leaning towards not selling yet as it seems Rare and to replace it with a modern revolver would be cost prohibitive to get the same quality. That said, wondering what information you experts might have. I believe I have the catalog number and model correct from above. It was made in 1989 and shipped somewhere in the US according to the Ruger website , I’m wondering how many were made in this configuration, rarity and any special value or facts about this particular model that you might now thank you for any thoughts or information you all may have!

The GPF-331 was first offered in 1989 and dropped from the catalog in 2004. Value is determined by supply, demand and condition, great revolver but doesn't have a high collectability. If you find someone to pay you more than you gave for it and willing to take for it pass it on or keep it and enjoy it. Who knows the next one you buy it might not be with the intent to sell. Good luck regardless of what you decide to do with it.
