Approval for posts to show up.
Is the forum implementing strict approval measures for posts to ensure a specific narrative or viewpoint is maintained, potentially limiting open discussion and diverse opinions within the community?

Re: WBR Shotgun
Hello George,
This site is closely monitored and jealously guarded. It is dedicated to all things Ruger, to wit, the Ruger Collector's Association, Inc. It is certainly open to discussion and all opinions on the subject of Ruger products, shows and history. Sometimes, a post will bring other brands of firearms into a discussion, usually for comparison purposes, which has long been part of the of the collecting narrative. Unrelated diverse opinions can be discussed on other forums.
While on the subject of monitoring; people would be surprised if they knew how much crap shows up every day on this forum. Most posts are from Russia and Ukraine, occasionally some from Asia and the Middle East. Most domestic posts are nonsense or simply nuisance posts. There will be 10-30 posts awaiting approval on any given day, these are hard to block, so I simply disapprove them. They vary from offering software and computer management to porn and illegal forged government documents. I always approve legitimate firearms posts and wish there were more.
Thank you for the inquiry, I trust this clarifies our forum policy.
your humble monitor, John
