One of my first guns purchased was a Mark II in 1980 and have since then acquired a few more but I have only started to collect Standards & Marks in the past few years. Look forward to learning more about these firearms. Sent my application it to the Association today.

Welcome to the forum. Where in NC are you?

There is a group of us who meet every year in western NC (Lake Lure area), it's called the Ruger East Coast Gathering. This year it will be the first weekend in October (5, 6). We have a great time, showing off our Rugers and other guns, shooting them and shooting the bull.
