I’m trying to accumulate all of the different variations produced in 1972. (My birth year) I have a ways to go but a good start. I know the brass frames will be the hardest to come by due to the scarcity and costs. But the hunt will continue. The photo is not the best. Enjoy, Todd

Wow, what an amazing collection you have there.. I had know idea there were that many different S/As for a single year. Never thought of all calibers AND barrel lengths… sweet!

I wonder what we’d be looking at for ‘62 ? Didn’t the grips change in mid year or something, and the last of the flat tops?

I’m not certain how many variations would have been available in ‘62 but the 41 Mags, 30 Carb, 45 LC’s and the brass frames weren’t around then. So I’m guessing there were quite a bit more variations available in ‘72.

This is true, and those are great calibers as well.

At least there was only one barrel size for the .30 Carbine. Did they release one with a brass grip frame?

I don't think so. But you never know with Ruger.
