Texas Old Army

Post by d findley »

To celebrate the Texas Sesquicentennial in 1986 Ruger planned to produce a commemorative Old Army revolver. That project never took place.

Ah.... there were two concept Old Army's made however for that purpose. The blue Old Army is serial number 145-49330 and the stainless is 145-51986. Both have non-standard 6-1/2" barrels I don't recall either having special engraving on them or anything else special besides the barrel length. They were both put in a single case however.
