70th anniversary mark IV sample

Post by rpm enterprises »

Pictured is a normal production 70th anniversary mark IV and the engineering sample of the 70th anniversary gun. This sample gun was also used as the photo gun. Sample gun does not have 70th prefix serial number but on the photo gun looks to be photo shoped. Notice the differences in packaging sample gun is on right in Picture.

That's not the half of it. Just looked up 500094794 on Ruger's serial number lookup page and it comes back as Ruger' model 40104, a 4-3/4" standard model.
I'm thinking there might be two guns with the same serial number.
