Hi everyone. I have a chance to purchase a 1949 ruger standard serial number 05XX. I know it's hard to determine condition of a gun based on what I tell you without pictures but I'd say it's in better than fair condition. As a long time ruger fan it would be very cool to have a gun that came out the original ruger shop 70 years ago, nevermind one of the first few hundred guns ruger ever made. I'm having a hard time locking down a realistic price for what this gun is worth and need some expertise. Do you guys think $725 for this piece with one mag is ballpark? I don't wanna get hosed but what's the chance I ever find another one. Any information and advise would be much appreciated. Thanks
