When it comes to Rugers these two are better than a pair of aces in a poker game or a finely tuned pair of .45's in a gunfight.
Ruger aficionados, authors, collectors, curators, gentleman, historians, instructors, leaders, mentors, shootist, and volunteers to all who've sought their guidance read their books and followed their forums.
    Great Display John

Thank you for the kind words, Donnie and I have been dear friends for about 40 years, in the old days we lived about 100 miles apart in the Texas panhandle ( not very far in Texas terms) and spent a lot of time together at shows and at each others home, our wives are friends as well.

The two Standard Pistols on the top of the display are made of wood and are exactly 2 to 1 scale. Both pistols are faithful in all dimensions and detail on both sides. I didn't think I was skilled enough to carve the address and serial number. Maybe that will be a project for this summer. The entire header piece was inspired by the old Ruger factory display from the 1950s. There is a photo of it on the RCA home page.

I knew I was familiar with the photo and design.
    Once again historians and instructors,
Very interesting on the scale and header.
GO FOR IT this summer JD.
