This is my first Ruger 22/45, a LNIB Ruger ""Great Eight"" Competition Target Model, serial no. 225-095xx. I found it at a local gun store, and got for $425 out the door. The sealed envelop with the test fired cartridge was signed on 7/2/2002.

From the Reference of Ruger Firearms, Pocket Edition #2: P8GC (Ruger model 0197) Special Distributor model. Rollmarked with “Great Eight”. Known s/n range 224-26303 to 226-11466. Several thousand believed to have been produced from 2000 to 2002 and 2004 for Davidson’s (AZ).
