    Yes. this indeed is the forrmer Ruger mansion on Center Street in Southport, less than a mile from the Red Barn. - Jay Hansen

    I discovered that the mansion was for sale recently and had been sold. I haven't found what the house sold for. I hope it's ok to post a link that has photos of the home that show both the exterior and interior decor to be somewhat amazing. It would be interesting to know what was original and what has changed since the Rugers moved out in the early 1990's.
