    Bob Deaden, long time Ruger employee, decided to sell his Ruger collection. He asked his good friend and fellow employee Jim Triggs to help him with prices, ect. Jim made this list, putting the related items and memorabilia on pages 1, 2, & 3 with Bob's guns on the last pages. The potential buyer could buy part or all. This was done in the summer of 1982. A friend of Jim's was offered, in advance, the complete list. He purchased everything, therefore no more lists were sent. Here is the 1st page of the memorabilia portion.

    Oh man, sure would like to have had a chance at those ivories!! Looking forward to the other pages....especially Bob's guns.

    Bill, That collection went to Grants Pass OR. I was able to buy a pair of those ivory grips, which I still have. A few items were offered after that original sale. I was able to buy a 3 ring binder with original letters, newsletters, announcements, and various other rare papers, the earliest being an original, unused Ruger Corp letterhead. Also a pair of original XR3 Factory stags that had never been on a gun, bran new as the day of manufacture. You remember those. Here is pages 2 & 3:

    Yep, Don, I sure do.....still have 'em if its the ones that I am thinking about that I got from you a while back. They are beauties!!
