Want to share. I am a new member. Just joined RENE. While doing research, I found I own a Buckeye Sports Supply S32X 32-20/32H&R & a S3840 38-40/10mm auto with the exact same last 5 digit serial numbers. The prefix of the S32X is 610 and the S3840 is 611.
Both appear unshot. No box nor paper on the S32X but everything for the S3840 including the outer shipping box. WHAT ARE THE ODDS. I bought them over a year apart from two different people.

    Coogs,
Thanks for your info and guess I just had a lucky find. I am looking for a 357 Maxi for shooting. Anything available?????? Already have loaded 100 rounds just awaiting a Maxi to fall out of the sky. Not many available and those that are must be made of gold. Just looking for a good shooter.

I am watching. From your prior posts, I have a suspicion you have a sizable collection. We aficionados never have enough. Just a character flaw or something but sure is fun. I will keep watching. Missed a couple at the Big Reno Show two past. Didn't know the real value at the time. A NITB with all paper etc was $1,100 and when I finally decided to pull the trigger, it was gone.:>((( Learned a good lesson there. Thanks for all the info. Lynn

Coogs, You have more than one but less than the full production! I have a feeling your .357Max collection is well populated. I had a H&R Handyrifle in .357 Max but alas it's gone. I always liked the idea of handgun & rifle in the same caliber. I have a Winchester Trapper in .357 Magnum paired with my old Police Service Six also a .357. That makes a nice combination & yes it was used on duty. Never felt underarmed with that pair & also had a Remington 870 pumpgun at hand as well. Those 3 arms served well & are still tops in my book.
