0 Replies and 3343 Views Ruger Customer Service is 1  3343  0 Started by  ch8smdown I recently sent my M77 in 6mm Remington back to Ruger after having it discharge while closing the bolt. Thankfully good upbringing around guns, Marine Corps service and a career in law enforcement proved invaluable as my young daughter was with me on her first hunting trip and the round went to a safe place. I added some grey hair but it proved a vauable lesson for both the young and older. Ruger said send it in for a ''check-up''. They recieved it on a Thursday, called me on Friday to say the t...

0 Replies and 3278 Views Old Model .357 Blackhawk- 5 shot?  3278  0 Started by  ch8smdown I recently purchased a .357 Blackhawk for my collection. It is an old, blued, 3 screw model with a 6.5 inch barrel. I checked the serial number on the Ruger website and found it to be made around 1968. The gun is in excellent condition, but I found something interesting that Ruger was not able to answer, at least they didnt seem to confident in the reply. The cylinder is obviousy a six shot cylinder, but one of the rims on the actual chamber is dimpled with what appears to be a clean tool/machin...

0 Replies and 3267 Views Blackhawk Buying Advice  3267  0 Started by  craigmgunner Hi all! I am new to this forum and new to single action revolver shooting. I have a few DA revolvers and .45 Autos. I want to buy a Ruger Blackhawk or Super Blackhawk for recreational shooting. I am comparing the new models to the old three screw models. My question is: how much more desireable are the older models vs the new ones I notice you can buy nice older models for just a bit more than a new gun. I also wonder what a fair price would be for a RCA Magnaport Tomahawk 044 Mag Super B...

0 Replies and 3203 Views 1 RSI  3203  0 Started by  osta.doc Hello everyone, I'm new to this site, but have been interested in Rugers for a very long time. I'm trying to find out if Ruger ever made the International in .223 I've always liked the guns that most don't, and wanted an International for many years now, but the choice seems to be down to three choices currently ( if you're buying new), none of which really excites me. Any thoughts Thanks in advance.......Doc

0 Replies and 3356 Views NRA Ruger P345  3356  0 Started by  ffd8203 I own a P345 that I won at a Friends of the NRA dinner 2 years ago. The gun has a stainless slide with the NRA Eagle logo on each side. On the left side of the slide under the NRA logo is 400 of 1050. The added NRA markings seem to be inked on or a screen print, and not engraved. This gun is unfired/new in the box. Any ideas what it would be worth Thank you, Larry Gilbert Jr. ltgilbertverizon.net

The frame is flat on top with a fixed rear sight (maybe adjustable for windage). Serial number is 20-97728. It is a three screw model without the safety conversion. I was wondering what a fair price would be to offer The person is asking $375.00. It only comes wi...
