I regret to inform everyone that Ktitz passed away at 80 years old on August 19, 2020.  He was known as Kritz by his friends. There is a detailed article aboout Kritz in the upcoming RCA JOURNAL

0 Replies and 3912 Views Ron Powers Grand Master Deluxe RCA Limited Edition  3912  0 Started by  Hdswap I recently purchased the above listed revolver. It's built on on a Stainless Steel Redhawk frame in 44 mag. It has a douglas 1 3/16 '' bull barrel with a custom rib on top ( the type used on PPC revolvers ), stippled backstrap, action job , chamfered and number cylinders and has custom wood Hogue grips. It came in a walnut case that holds two speed loaders and still has the wire strap seal around the trigger and through the frame of the gun I'm assuming placed on it by Ron Powers upon its comple...

0 Replies and 3835 Views M77 RSI 6.5x55  3835  0 Started by  wayne0 Hi all I have a Lipsys M77 MKII RSI 6.5x55 stainless. I've read it's one of 500 or from different sources it's one of 250. Ruger can't verify which is correct. Serial number is 792-42851. I bought it NIB, but I'm a hunter, so it gets some use. I will say, with my hand loads it shoots clover leafs. Any info I can get is appreciated.

Would someone please educated me on what a ''Bisley Ruger'' is please I've tried to do some searches on the internet but that seems to just turn up more ''Bisley Rugers'' but not much info on what exactly makes a Ruger a Bisley. I'm just trying to learn and any help will be appreciated! Bob

0 Replies and 4102 Views unusual 1  4102  0 Started by  exbo3388 Additional help or comments... I purchased a 1, s/n 4001, .222 rem. It has a 26'' medium barrel, no sights, drilled for scope blocks, but the unusual thing it has what appears to be a factory installed quarter rib. I say factory installed because the locating pins are installed as well. From what I have been told, most gunsmith installed ribs omit the pins. I talked to Lee, the 1 GURU, and he gave me more information than the gentleman at Ruger did. The only thing that Ruger said was that the ...

0 Replies and 5009 Views Serial number 93 serries value?  5009  0 Started by  RandyH Grandpa passed away a few weeks ago and left some guns. Bearcat Blackhawk (.30) M-77 (6mm) Number 1 (6mm) All with the 2 digit serial number 93. All in very good condition but all have been shot some. The Blackhawk has only been shot 3 times, grandpa took it to the range with surplus ammo, shot it three times without ear plugs. Those of you who have done this might be surprised he shot it more than once. Bearcat has seen a lot of use, carried for snakes and shot by most in the family cam...

0 Replies and 4448 Views Please help  4448  0 Started by  reineke4 I inherited a Ruger when my husband passed. I was hoping someone could give me some info. I did go online to ruger.com as well. I am sending away for a letter of authenticity. In the meantime their website suggested that I also try RCA for info. From what I can read on the barrel of the rifle is Sturm, Ruger and Co. I can't see a model number. There is a serial 130-56418. I was told by family that it is a .22 Hornet. It is a lever action. This is all I know. I appreciate your help.

0 Replies and 5259 Views Help with NIB 44. Carbine 25th Edition  5259  0 Started by  ResQ91 Hello! I hope some of you would help me with some advice. My buddy talked me into considering a 44. Carbine to deer hunt in the brush. (I have missed getting a shot off trying to find deer in my rifle scope too many times) My impression was of a fast handling, light gun with semi-auto. I went out looking for one and ended up buying a 25th Anniversary model directly from Ruger in an auction. It turns out it is from Ruger's factory collection. It is brand new (Well, made in 1982) but never fire...
