I have a early 80s M77 marked in non other than 30-40 Krag

Bolt face seems standard .473 and it has a .257 groove diameter

Is this the one on Gun Broker a week or two? I checked with Ruger on that one and the said it was shipped as a 257 Roberts.

I bought it knowing there was something hinky. Was hoping it was a Ruger one-off in Krag and was willing to pay a bit for it. Ends up it is 257 so the seller refunded some of my $$ due to the fact it wasn't what he said it was.

Is there any collector interest in a Ruger error like this?
