OLD MODEL BLACKHAWK 357 IN STAINLESS

Post by capjrr » Tue Mar 29, 2016 8:16 am

I recently acquired an old model "3 screw" Blackhawk in 357 cal. Ser. # 30-92795 which dates it to 1971. The odd thing is, it's POLISHED STAINLESS STEEL"! I cannot find any information about Ruger making an old model in stainless. Any info would be appreciated.

You sure it is not nickel? That would be my guess. Pics will most certainly help! There were some Factory nickel guns, hard to document. It seems that most that show up were aftermarket done. Get some pics up. Jack
