Looking for information about a recent Ruger rifle acquisition. Here's the info:
M77 MK II action , 3 pos. safety, brown laminated stock with beavertail forend. Receiver is blued, factory bull barrel is stainless. Caliber is 243 Win.

Your rifle (1992) was one of about 1500 of the 1st stainless MKII Target Rifles. They had the barrels ready before the SS receiver's caught up. I have a .220 Swift in that configuration. The first barrels are polished SS the latter barrels were "Target Grey" in finish.
There is a picture on page 256 of Wilsons book "Ruger & His Guns.
