On the back side is says of course Tom Ruger, then under his name is Christmas 1982 and Richcraft. I got it from Tom's secratary who worked for him about 15 years. I asked if there were anymore with his name on them but she said this was the only one.

Trying not to be a smart butt, But the value is what you paid for them. I know you want Book value but I haven't had a book buy anything from me yet. I'm trying to say the Real Value is what you have paid for them. Looks liks a nice collection. Do you need a value for insurance purposes ?

If you go to the Rugerforum.com, sometimes guys on there will have an extra to sell..Plus I learn alot everytime I'm on.

As far as I know, all P85 and P85MkII pistols were SA/DA. There were some DA only P89s made for L.E., but I'm not aware of any made SA only. A pistol can be modified to be SA only, but to what advantage? More likely, either the trigger bar foot is too high and it won't release DA or the trigger bar ...

As far as what you have to do to mail one is. Simple take it to an FFL holder and let him do all the work for you.Which you have to do anyway. I'm just long winded at times..Who ever buys it from you will have to send a copy of an FFL to the dealer you choose to handle it for you. Contact as many as...
