Looking for a .44 carbine

I'm looking for a .44 carbine. Must be in original condition, that is no modifications from original. I understand that some wear may be unavoidable, I mean they are meant to be used arn't they. However I am not looking for something scard or beat up. But I guess I don't have to say that to RCA memb...

10/22 Magnum

I've heard that the 10/22 was available for a short time in 22 Magnum caliber but was discontinued because of mis-firing issues. Has anyone heard about it being reintroduced? If not how many were produced?

Re: Value of .44 Magnum Carbine 1967

I don't know what the value is for sure but I heard a couple years ago about $600 to $700. I had one years ago but I sold it and if you decide to sell it I'm pretty sure I know of a buyer... that is ME!

Re: two stolen Blackhawks

The bright side may get brighter. The police caught two professional thieves coming out of a house a couple of miles from my house. Here's hoping its the same guys and that what they've stolen is recoverable.

.357 vs. .38 special

Just a question about .38 Special used in a .357, I've been told that it does not cause a problem and I've been told that because of the shorter brass will leave ring in the bore. I tend to believe that it is not a good practice and have only ran a few boxes of .38 in my Blackhawks. Any thoughts?

Re: two stolen Blackhawks

Unfortunately I don't have the serial number or the letter. When I bought it, that is my friend bought it for me because I was under age I didn't think of it as a collectors item just as the coolest gun I'd ever seen. I knew it was special but didn't know how special. It was my first and always my f...

Ron Johnson the new kid on the block

Hello, I’m a long time Ruger Shooter although I will admit that I don’t get to shoot as much as I used to, but we do have a nice indoor pistol range in Racine, WI. the town I call home. My first gun was a Ruger Blackhawk I had to have a friend buy for me because I was under age. I guess I can say th...

two stolen Blackhawks

I was referred to RCA by Ruger after I contacted them to find the value of my two Blackhawks that were stolen from my home yesterday. A brief discription of them follows: .357 Magnum / 9mm convertible Blackhawk centennial (three screw type) model, blued finish with 4 5/8 inch barrel, with .44 Magnum...
