Re: Ruger 357 flat top 12'

I've never heard of one,but like Grandpa said " never say never" ( special order???) a call or a letter request from the factory will tell you what that serial numbered gun shipped as........over the years folks have put longer barrels on more guns than I can even think of.....when we had our shops ...

Re: Ruger Standard Automatic .22 "Red Eagle" S/N 8???

we saw this gun at one of the Ohio gun shows over the years, and looked it over REAL careful, it is a much later gun, and the serial number digit was a simple hand stamp, done by "whomever", "when ever", we passed on it, knowing that the original , early ( proper numbered gun, possibly a prototype) ...

Re: Serial number 93 serries value?

Are the boxes, shippers ( wrappers) paper work etc with any if the guns, this affects the values, but like Bill said above, seeing them to get a "condition" idea will be the determining factor...two digit makes them of a "premium" value, over and above the condition as well...but when you look at a ...

Re: Single Six 1955?

what is the serial number? you can leave out the last one or two digits simply substitute an "x", like #1234xor #1234xx, give a v better idea if which "type" RSS you may actually have or send me a picture ........sounds like a nice gun, currently we have them in each of the type ( variations) all in...

Re: Question, can anyone help?

Good info above from Ron, and yes, the cylinder can be polished out quite easily, simply use a 3M Scotchbrite pad and rotate the cylinder....the lines can polish out and easy enough to keep looking GOOD........ heck I could have polished it faster and easier than it was to type this reply (but then ...

Re: Flat top blackhawk 357, year 1957

welcome to the forum, that is a fine looking old model Blackhawk, and nice to get one before any "prefix" numbers....good info above and as for the odd serial number layout. quite common with Rugers and their 'stamping', we've seen many with numbers up and down, out of line ...loose jig?? (fixture) ...

Re: P89P
