My First Ruger 22/45

This is my first Ruger 22/45, a LNIB Ruger "Great Eight" Competition Target Model, serial no. 225-095xx. I found it at a local gun store, and got for $425 out the door. The sealed envelop with the test fired cartridge was signed on 7/2/2002. From the Reference of Ruger Firearms, Pocket Edition #2: P...

Ruger Mark II Government Target Model (Stainless Steel)

I saw a stainless steel Mark II Government Target Model with a 6-7/8" bull barrel, serial number 219-524xx at a local gun shop that I think was made in 1993. Is there anything "special" about this model? It has a few small superficial scratches on the barrel. Minimal grip wear. Asking price is $369,...

Re: Mark I, T678 with Tapered Bolt Ears

This is a photo of the rear of the bolt showing that the flat is on top. I understand that a bolt with the flat on the bottom is the more common configuration.

Re: Mark I, T678 with Tapered Bolt Ears

I paid $275 for it and thought it would be worth more than that. I'd appreciate input from experts on what it might be worth if I ever do want to sell or trade it. Due to the lighting it looks like the bluing is worn on the left barrel and grip frames but it is not worn except for the front of the b...

Mark I, T678 with Tapered Bolt Ears

Just got this Mark I, T678 with Tapered Bold Ears. Serial No 272xx (1952), that I estimate is in 90+% condition. On the left side of the gun there are very small areas of wear on the front edge of the blade sight ring and barrel at the muzzle. Also a very small area of wear on the front edge of the ...

Customized Ruger Mark I model T-512

Well, I have to show everyone my latest acquisition, a customized Mark I, model T-512 with serial no. S 10-94167. The seller said it was part of an estate, and I bought it just because I think it is such a neat looking gun. According to the letter from Ruger, it was shipped in October 1971 and the "...
